With last year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony canceled because the company was still trying to figure out how to adjust with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, WWE announced that they will fold last year’s with 2021’s ceremony, and this year’s first announced inductee will be Molly Holly.
An emotional Shane Helms was the first to announce on WWE’s The Bump where he delivered the news personally to his former tag-team partner. “My Hurri-senses tell me are going to like this,” Helms said through the tears. “It is my esteemed honor and privilege to announce the first inductee into the WWE 2021 Hall of Fame…is you, Mighty Molly Holly.”
The former Women’s Champion was thrilled and excited about the news. “Oh my gosh, that is awesome! Thank you! This is incredible!”
